One Health India Organization Awards

The One Health India Organization is committed to recognizing outstanding contributions in the field of One Health—a collaborative, multisectoral approach to achieving optimal health for people, animals, and the environment. Our awards honor those who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and commitment to advancing the One Health framework in research, policy, practice, and education.

Our awards celebrate the transformative efforts that promote cross-sectoral collaboration and contribute to building sustainable and healthy communities. We invite nominations for individuals, teams, and organizations that have made a significant impact in the One Health field.

Award Categories:

1. One Health Research Excellence Award
   Recognizing outstanding contributions in One Health research that bridge human, animal, and environmental health to address global health challenges. This award honors individuals or teams whose work leads to significant advancements in our understanding of health interactions across species.
2. Outstanding One Health Innovator Award
   This award recognizes individuals, teams, or organizations that have developed innovative solutions or technologies contributing to One Health. This can include new tools, systems, or approaches that advance diagnostics, disease prevention, surveillance, or public health.
3. One Health Advocacy and Leadership Award
   Awarded to those who have shown exceptional leadership and advocacy in promoting the One Health approach, particularly in policy development, public health initiatives, and global health challenges. Nominees should have worked to integrate One Health into national or international agendas.
4. One Health Policy and Public Health Award
   This award acknowledges outstanding contributions in policy development or public health initiatives that promote the One Health approach. It focuses on those who have influenced health policy at local, national, or global levels to create more integrated and sustainable solutions.
5. Young Researcher Award in One Health
   Awarded to early-career researchers who have demonstrated exceptional promise in One Health research. This award is designed to encourage the next generation of One Health scientists by recognizing their innovative work at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health.
6. One Health Education and Training Excellence Award
   This award honors institutions, educators, or programs that have demonstrated excellence in education and training in One Health. Nominees should have contributed to fostering the next generation of One Health professionals and raising awareness of the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health.
7. One Health Collaboration Award
   This award celebrates organizations or initiatives that have excelled in collaboration across sectors (human, animal, environmental health) to tackle global health challenges. Collaboration across disciplines is critical to achieving the One Health vision, and this award acknowledges those efforts.
8. One Health Community Engagement Award
   Recognizing efforts to engage local communities in One Health initiatives that improve public health. This includes outreach programs, health education campaigns, and grassroots efforts to promote One Health principles and practices at the community level.
9. One Health Environmental Impact Award
   Awarded to individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to promoting environmental health as a core element of One Health. This includes work on pollution control, sustainability practices, and ecosystem restoration to support both human and animal health.
10. One Health Clinical Excellence Award
    This award recognizes clinicians, veterinarians, and healthcare providers who demonstrate excellence in clinical practice by applying the One Health approach. Nominees should have worked on diseases that span human and animal health or contributed to cross-species health solutions.
11. One Health Startup of the Year Award
    Recognizing innovative startups and entrepreneurs who are advancing the One Health approach through new products, services, or technologies. This award highlights entrepreneurs who are creating practical solutions to One Health challenges, such as new diagnostic tools or digital health platforms.
12. One Health Lifetime Achievement Award
    This prestigious award recognizes an individual who has dedicated their life to the advancement of One Health, making a long-term and profound impact on research, practice, and policy. The recipient has shown a deep commitment to advancing health through cross-sectoral approaches and has played a pivotal role in shaping the One Health movement
